Carson VanGundyCarson is originally from Victoria, Texas but currently lives in Stephenville. He
is an Ag Business major at Tarleton State University and has been playing shows for 2-3 years. More recently he’s been playing shows locally around Stephenville, but has played all over Texas in his career. He cites Cross Canadian Ragweed as one of his musical influences. Wesley HannaWesley is a Texas country singer-songwriter living in Fort Worth, TX. He is also an engineer in the oil and gas industry. Wes has been playing shows
around Texas and recently released his first solo LP and second album, titled “Brand New Love Potion.” Balancing family, an engineering career, and music has been an exciting adventure. You can keep up with him on social media by following @wesleyhannamusic. Michael Patulea was born and raised in San Antonio, Texas. He currently resides in Stephenville, Texas and is attending his last semester of nursing school at Tarleton State University. Michael got an early start in music performing in choir all throughout middle school and high school. He continues to play shows locally and in the surrounding area. Everett PatrickEverett is a 13-year-old student at Glen Rose Junior High. His love for music
began at a very early age. He picked up a guitar around the age of two, and started playing piano around eight years old. Everett is involved in a lot of activities but he loves to play music most of all. This year he is starting a band with his best friend and hopes to gain more experience playing live shows. |
Taushey SiasTaushey Denay Sias is a Award Winning Recording Artist, songwriter, actress. Her family added her extraordinary talent to the family singing group, Ami Sias and the Sias Family, at the tender age of six. Taushey’s desire is to use her gifts and abilities to show the restoration power of God's love. Taushey believes that no matter the path you've taken, you're never beyond the reach of His grace.
Holli is a mother to four kids, newly transplanted from Aledo to Dublin, Texas. She is a singer/songwriter who plays gigs most every weekend around the Abilene, San Angelo and DFW areas. Holli says she has lived a lot of life and has a lot of story to tell by way of the gift of music she’s been given. She gives all glory to God almighty, just wants be a good steward with what He’s given her.
Aleah Curtis is a performer originally hailing from Georgetown, TX. Her love for music, acting, and performance has been strong since childhood, and she one day hopes that performance will be her full-time career. Presently, she is studying at Howard Payne University in Brownwood, TX, and will be graduating with her Bachelor of Arts degree in Theatre with a Minor in Music in May of 2023.
Grace is a Stephenville resident who has been singing and writing songs

Mel GarsekWhile also learning to walk and talk, Mel made up songs, banging away on his toy piano and guitar. As he grew, he continued writing his own music and
practicing every day. Today, you can catch him playing gigs around Fort Worth, from local bars and honky-tonks to busking at farmers markets. Please see his website (www.melgarsek.com) for additional info on bookings, future shows and merch. Mitchell CrainMitchell is a Texas Country music artist originally from Cuero, Texas. He fell in
love with singing and writing music when he was 12 years old. He finally got the courage to go up on stage when he was 16 with his grandpa, who is also a musician. Some of Mitchell’s biggest musical influences are Chris Cagle, Willie Nelson, Reckless Kelly, and Cross Canadian Ragweed. Tanner is 19 and has lived in Bluff Dale, Texas for his entire life. He started playing the guitar when he was in the 7th grade and has loved it ever since. As a child, Tanner started in church and now participates in picking circles and is booking gigs of his own. He is thrilled to be competing in this competition.
Alternate Anna Lee WilliamsAnna is a Musical Theater major at Tarleton State University. She is also a part of Tarleton’s Chamber Choir. She is originally from Belton, Texas, but was
born here in Stephenville. Anna performed in A Voice for Habitat 2022 and had such a fun experience that she wanted to participate again this year. |
*The contestant that raises the most funds for Erath County Habitat for Humanity will win the People's Choice Award and earn custody of the People's Choice Traveling Trophy "Mic" until it is passed to the next year's A Voice For Habitat People's Choice Winner. The fundraising amount ranking is one-quarter of the score with the other three-quarters determined by our judges the night of the event.
